This magical scene is the view of a very obscure unnamed valley at the base of an unnamed Lost River Range peak nicknamed September Mountain. I was very pleased to find such a perfect composition of the very old weathered tree stump and the valley and distant mountains.
The green area you can see just above the tree stump is where I hiked up from, my truck parked at the top of DoubleSprings Pass road.
