The Wahweap Hoodoos are a pretty simple hike to get to ... just 10-11 miles hiking round trip along the creek bottom.
It is more than a half-day hike for most people, and, for me, I took overnight gear
and water for a dry camp. Watching the full moon rise with these hoodoos as companions was a wonderful
experience, even if the hoodoos I wanted to photograph were in moon shadow until at least 2AM, when I
gave up waiting! I took the video below the next morning, while waiting for sunrise.
