This image was taken on one of the most beautiful and dramatic Summer Solstice days I've ever experienced, of the view of the Upper Pahsimeroi Valley in the Lost River Range. The stormy weather kept me in my truck, and when this scene unfolded with the double rainbow I barely had enough time to take one shot ... just a matter of seconds.
The Upper Pahsimeroi is one of the least visited and 'secret' dramatic places in Idaho. For some of the people that visit this place it has acquired the nickname 'Little Switzerland'.
